Our Leaf Oil is extracted via steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of Ceylon cinnamon plants, which are pruned during the production of cinnamon quills. They are dried for a few days before distillation to pre-concentrate the compounds within. Traditional Sri Lankan distillation stills are large wooden vessels that can hold up to 200kg of leaves, with a wood-fired boiler underneath to introduce steam to the vessel.

This oil is often used to neutralize odors without toxic chemicals, creating a pleasant, exotic scent for places like toilets, kitchens, cars, and anywhere else with lingering smells. The scent is very pleasant to humans but is a repellant for insects and raccoons.
